Campus Churches.

There are many people in the christian world that don’t like megachurches and what they stand for. Many people think these churches produce weak christians that might be true. But the one aspect of the megachurch I like is the campus church. It usually carries the same name of the mother church. They usually will plant a campus church in another town or state.

The reason why people are against these types of churches is because they feel the church shouldn’t be a ran as a business and the campus church is a franchise of the main campus. But if you really think about it the campus church is just like a daughterwork church. So why the debate.

God has never given us a mandate on how to grow a church just to send men that are qualified. It really doesn’t matter what term we use if it is daughterwork or campus as long they are reaching the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ.The truth a lot of people don’t like megachurches and the campus churches that they produce is because they feel as through they are stealing saints from other churches.

Leaving your Armor Behind.

Eph 6:13 So put on all the armor that God gives. Then when that evil day comes you will be able to defend yourself. And when the battle is over, you will still be standing firm.

V14 Be ready! Let the truth be like a belt around your waist and let Gods justice ptotect you like armor.

V15 Your desire to tell the good news about peace should be like shoes on your feet.

V.16 Let your faith be like a shield and you will be able to stop all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

V.17 Let Gods saving power be like a helmet and for a sword use Gods message that comes from the spirit. Cev

Have you ever felt like you have left a piece of your armor of God behind? I know that there have been times in my walk that I have felt as through I haven’t dressed in my spiritual armor. When you dress in your full armor you can be attacked by the enemy in several different ways. Every part of your armor plays a vital role in your spiritual protection from the enemy. The first piece of your armor is the belt which goes around your waist which is Gods truth that protects you and then the breastplate is his awesome justice. Your desire to tell others about his saving grace should be like shoes upon your feet that prepares you to teach others. His saving power should become our helme and his word is the sword that protects us from our enemies savory tatics.

Each day we should be prepared to do battle with the enemy.We must never leave any piece of our armor in our spiritual closets. Because the moment that we do that the enemy starts to plot his attack. When he starts to plot his attack we have given him the power to control our next move. So,we must have our complete armor so we don’t give him that power in our lives.

Here lately I know there has been certain pieces of my armor that I have left in my closet. And I have sat back and let the devil attack me from all sides. I realize I have made myself easy prey for him to do his work. But I plan to change that by not laying down any of my armor. I also believe when we are not fully dressed in our armor our prayers become in effective to some degree.

Faith

Our pastor has been teaching on the topic of faith on wed nights. Last night he taught on having great faith. Sometimes we go through something that we think will never endand our faith will begin to lack a little or we will completely lose faith. I know in my walk there has been times where I have lacked faith. But last nights teaching increased my faith even through I went to church really exhausted but my faith was built up. I pray that our faith will continue to build to revival . Because I want to see mighty things happen.

The glimpse that changed a life.

Luke 19:2 And behold there was a man named Zaccheaus which was the chief among the publicans,and he was rich.

V3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was and could not for the press,because he was little in stature.

V4. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

V.5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him,and said unto him, Zaccheaus for today I must abide at thy house.

We all know who Zaccheaus is. He was the guy who climbed the tree so he could catch a glimspe of Jesus as he walked by that day. But little did he know that Jesus would stop by that tree. As Jesus stopped he asked Zaccheaus to come down from the tree.But little did he know Jesus that Jesus would come to his house that day. It must haved shocked Zaccheaus when Jesus told him that he was coming to his home.

We should become like Zaccheaus and climb our spiritual trees so we can catch that glimpse of Jesus as he is walking by. But ao many times we have our spiritual eyes at half mass or closed so we can’t catch that gimpse . Or we just completely neglect climbing that tree at all. All it takes is just a little faith to climb our spiritual trees and catch that glimpse of Jesus as he passes by. He will stop and commune with us in our the house of our heart.

Church theme

This year our churches theme is Faith. Our pastor has been teaching and preaching on faith. Sometimes we can lack faith because of what we are going through in our lives. But in order to bring revival we must have faith. Faith does change things but we also need to be a vessel and let our faith be shown to others .We also need to have faith in the promises of God and not doubt what he has said. Faith is everything if we lack faith we have nothing.
