Eph 4:1 Amp
I therefore the prisoner for the Lord, apeal and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the (devine) calling to which you have been called (with behavior is a credit to the summons to Gods service.
The book of Ephesians is one of my favorite books of the bible. The first three chapters of Ephesians teaches us doctrine but the last three chapters are from a practical standpoint which shows how to
live the christian life.
Are you living a life that is worthy and that will draw people to have a relationship with God. Or are you living a life that would want to make people run the other way and not seek a relationship with
God. We should be living in such a way that others will want what we have. But so many of us fly underneath the radar so to speak we get by with
living haphazardly not realizing our attitudes and how we handle things in our day to day affairs.
affects our witness.
As christians we are called to live in a way that won’t bring we don’t bring a reproach on the name of Jesus . But some christians will walk that tightrope of not living the way they have been called to because they would rather entertain the world than be a blood brought christian.
