Luke.15:4 Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them -What do you do? You leave the ninety nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that got lost until you find it.
As he teaches in this verse of one sheep leaves the fold don’t you go after that one. When someone starts to go astray they usually will show signs of straying from The Lord. As we begin to see this we should go after and reach out to them. But the question is why don’t we let them slip through the cracks. Could it because we are so wrapped up in our own issues that we don’t reach out to this sheep. We should never allow this to happen to a sheep. When we begin to see a person struggle we should begin to reach out to them and draw them back into the fold instead of pushing them out and letting then walk down the road to destruction. If we show interest they may avoid backsliding.
