Don’t hide your talent.

Matthew 25:25 I was afraid so I went off and hid your money in the ground. Here is what belongs to you. (Gntd)

We can be just like this guy that hid his one talent from God. When we hide our talents we  are showing our true stewardship and how we value God. He puts certain talents within us so we can build the kingdom with . The talent that he has blessed with can touch many lives. But we can get into this area where we don’t want to share out talent with other people because we are afraid of rejection. Could this be why we bury our talents because we are afraid of rejection. On many levels I think why some of us may hide our talent and not use it  for God. Or maybe it might just be outright fear of failing .If God truly gave you the talent you should not have the fear of failure.

  1. Maybe fear of rejection for some and fear of failure for others. Possibly both are involved for others. Maybe in some cases, we just don’t know where or how to start sharing. If we pray and trust God to lead and remember it’s all about Him and His glory instead of about us, we will be more likely to use our God-given talents.
May you be blessed by God’s love today.

  2. You have spoken to me in a way that I cannot explain. I love writing and many a times I do not share what I write for fear of those that might not accept it. Thank you and may the Lord bless you abundantly.

  3. I’m thinking about Job. Tried to run away with his talent, but eventually used it, thought it was a total failure, yet God used it anyway and Nineveh was saved. Amazing, depending on how one looks at “failure”
    Thanks for writing!
