Genesis pt12

It’s not over.

Genesis 16

Isaiah1:18 “Come now, let us settle the matter, “says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Don’t allow relational GAPS to continue between You and God.

No past sin is greater than the grace of God.

No future sin is greater than the love of God.

Ephesians 2:1-10

1-6  It wasn’t so long ago that you were more in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You fill your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience . We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it,all of us in the same boat. It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Chirst. He did all this on his own, with no help from us ! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, the Messiah,7-10 Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in the world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish!  We don’t play the major role.  If we did, we’d probably go around begging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make or nor save ourselves. God does both making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do,  work we had better be doing.

John10:28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

29. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

30. I and my father are one”.

  1. Are we Christians not doubly blessed to be in the hand of the Father and at the same time in the hand of Jesus, the saviour? If Jesus does give ETERNAL LIFE, then it speaks so much volumes about the Personage of Christ Jesus, who’s one (in mind and thought) with the Eternal Father!
